What Is Frameless Futures And Why Does It Exist?
Frameless Futures grew from a simple idea:
Understanding ourselves should be easier, finding our people shouldn't be so difficult, and the people who experience systems should have a meaningful role in shaping them.
Lizzi - Founder
"When I was diagnosed, I was completely overwhelmed and didn't know where to turn. Information felt scattered, support felt disconnected, and it was difficult to know what actually existed, where to find people who understood, or whose experience I could relate to...
...I wanted to make that journey easier for the next person.
That experience became the starting point for Frameless Futures."
There is already so much knowledge, experience, creativity and brilliant work within neurodivergent communities.
The problem is that finding it can be HARD!
Information sits in different places, groups can be difficult to find, people are often left trying to work out what applies to them, who to trust and where they belong.
And that is hard AND exhausting, especially when you're trying to understand yourself, your own experience AND find others who understand!
Understanding yourself, finding people who get it, and knowing where to turn shouldn't be this difficult to navigate!
We want to make this easier
How We're Starting To Change This
What we are building first
We're starting with a free digital platform bringing together neurodivergent community, useful information, lived experience, organisations, events and opportunities to have a voice, all in one place.
We want to make it easier to find what helps, connect with others and discover ways to get involved.
Frameless Futures is bigger than a platform, but this is where we are starting.
Our platform is a FREE TO USE digital platform for neurodivergent people!
Our aim: Find what you need, connect with people, discover what's happening and have a voice in what comes next
In its first stage you'll be able to:
Create your own free profile and shape what you want to see.
Find useful information, resources and signposting without having to fight your way through endless search results.
Discover neurodivergent community groups near you.
Access tools and peer support if you'd like to create a local group yourself.
Read, listen to and watch real lived experiences of neurodivergence.
Find organisations, projects, events and research.
Help shape what appears on the platform and what we build next.
Have your voice heard and included in wider change.
Here's a sneak peek!
Once you have an account you can explore and give feedback on what's there.
You can request to join an existing community group, with permission of the person running it, or get support setting one up in your area
Right now, finding out more about the launch just requires your name and email.
A privacy policy and terms of service will be provided alongside the platform, explaining how we collect, use and protect your information.
We Are Using Neurodivergent Skills to Build Our Platform
We're not commissioning a company to make the platform and then asking neurodivergent people what they think afterwards. Frameless Futures is building the platform with the skills and expertise of neurodivergent people and our supporters.
The people who will use it are shaping it while it's being built.
(which is why you might notice a few rogue typos here and there... Part of the lived experience! Feel free to let us know so we can correct them ☺️)
Sign up if you want:
To receive updates on our launch.
To help with user testing.
To provide lived experience/resources.
To share ideas.
To offer skills.
To let us know if you have a group/ project/ organisation
More Than A Platform
Frameless Futures is more than just a platform.
Frameless Futures is a neurodivergent-led organisation building a free platform to make neurodivergence easier to navigate by connecting people, communities, useful information and lived experience.
We also want to bring those experiences together so neurodivergent people have more influence over the systems that affect them.
We won't pretend the difficult bits aren't difficult, or squeeze everyone into a more positive version of the same box.
We will be questioning the box in the first place!
How Are We Different?
We're not trying to recreate existing neurodivergent websites, organisations or social media spaces, or create another system people have to navigate.
We are doing things differently.
Our platform will provide one place to help you find community, information, lived experience and opportunities to help shape change.
Within it, explore what resonates with you, hear from other people and understand more about how your own brain works!

Three Parts - One Bigger Picture
The three C's
Finding friendship and community
can change everything.
Connect
People and Belonging
Find people, groups and spaces where you can connect and belong.
We believe people need spaces where they can understand themselves, find belonging and be themselves without having to fit into someone else's idea of who they should be.
Whether you're looking for somewhere local, something online, or simply somewhere you don't have to explain yourself quite so much our platform will help you navigate this.
We will bring together neurodivergent communities, groups and people who understand.
You can choose to find a group, start a group in your area, or link your existing group to our search database.
Groups are for peer connection, signposting, educating, understanding and community.
They are run by and for neurodivergent people.
We are not therapy, a clinical setting or a service. We offer peer connection, understanding and community.
Consider
Knowledge, Resources, Perspectives
Find useful information, resources and experiences without having to piece everything together yourself.
Explore useful resources, lived experience, research and ideas in one place.
Not one version of neurodivergence or someone else telling you what your experience should be.
Find different perspectives, experiences and ways of understanding yourself.
Change
Collective influence
Bring lived experience together to help shape services, organisations and systems.
Our experience tells us a lot about what works, what doesn't and what needs to change.
Frameless Futures will create ways for lived experience to help shape better services, organisations and systems.
Because when individual experiences come together, they become something so much harder to ignore!
Frameless Futures platform will create ways for people to contribute ideas, lived experience and expertise to wider change in one place.
Diagnosed, self-identifying, questioning, waiting for assessment or just curious.
Find community, resources and lived experience.
Connect your group and reach people looking for support.
For anyone, if you have anything you want to share, here is the place for it - Share your experience, expertise or resources.
Whether your neurodivergent or not, we would love for you to help us shape better services, research and systems.
Want to Understand Neurodivergence?
Neurodivergence is an umbrella term that includes ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, Dyslexia, Development co-ordination disorder (DCD, previously Dyspraxia), Dyscalculia, Tourette syndrome and more.
Neurodiversity describes the natural variation in how human brains think, learn, communicate, process information and experience the world.
Every neurodivergent person is different. Neurodivergence can create real barriers, while our ways of thinking and experiencing the world can also bring creativity, insight, deep focus, pattern recognition and different perspectives.
There is more than one way to experience neurodivergence.
Labels can help us understand ourselves but they shouldn't define the limits of who we are.
Frameless Futures is interested in the whole experience of neurodivergence: the difficult bits, the brilliant bits, the contradictions, the different ways we think and the things our experiences can teach us.
We don't just want to ask how neurodivergent people can fit into the world as it is.
We want neurodivergent ways of thinking to help shape what the world becomes
About Us
Frameless Futures was founded by Lizzi in 2025, bringing together her personal experience of neurodivergence, with a background in public services, systems thinking, service design and transformation.
After years of seeing how difficult it can be to navigate disconnected information, support and services, Lizzi wanted to create something different.
A place that connects people and community, makes useful knowledge easier to find, and creates stronger routes for lived experiences to influence the systems around us.
Lizzi is joined by a wonderful group of volunteers with lived experience and supporters, providing Frameless Futures with their skills, interests, insight and expertise to help make this a reality for us all.
This is what it can feel like for one person:
"I can fit in almost anywhere,
But never actually sure I really belong.
I hear the music playing in the room,
But sometimes my head sings a very different song."

That feeling of belonging matters....
Frameless Futures is about what becomes possible when people don't have to navigate that alone.
Frameless Futures is doing things differently
The platform is only the beginning.
As the community grows, Frameless Futures can bring together lived experience, ideas and knowledge at a much bigger scale. The aim is not only to make neurodivergence easier to navigate, but to create stronger ways for neurodivergent people to influence the services, organisations and systems that affect our lives.
There is so much more we want to create, this is the first step and we would love Frameless Futures to be something we can build together!
Frameless Futures is still developing, and that's exactly why we'd love you to join us now!

Still here? Here's a little bit more about the thinking behind Frameless Futures...
From Community To Change
Frameless Futures is built around a simple idea that change starts when people find each other, feel understood and have somewhere they belong.
From there, individual experiences can become a stronger collective voice, and that voice can help shape the systems around us.
ADHD. Autism. Dyslexia. Dyspraxia, and many more.
Labels can be incredibly useful. They can give us language for our experiences, help us understand ourselves and open doors to support and community.
But they never tell the whole story.
Neurodivergent people are not a list of traits, deficits, or diagnostic criteria. We are individuals with different experiences, strengths, needs, ideas and ways of seeing the world.
Frameless Futures wants to create space for the whole experience of neurodivergence, not just what fits neatly inside a diagnostic box.
By bringing those experiences together, we can start to change the wider narrative too.
From asking "how do we help this person fit" to asking "what could we change so more people can belong?"
Understanding comes before judgement.
Lived experience matters.
Curiosity helps us understand each other.
Different minds belong.
Nobody should have to prove they belong before they are welcomed.
Difference doesn't mean deficits.
Lived experience is expertise
We believe lived experience brings knowledge that cannot always be understood through data, research or professional practice alone.
Neurodivergent people know things about our lives, needs, barriers and strengths because we experience them directly.
That knowledge should be recognised, valued and used alongside professional expertise, not treated as something secondary.
Our experience is not just a story. It is knowledge.
We believe neurodivergent people should be involved from the beginning, not brought in at the end once decisions have already been made.
Our lived experience should help shape services, research, organisations and policy alongside professional expertise.
Inclusion should mean influence not just consultation.
We believe that neurodivergent people should have meaningful voice in the things that affect our lives.
We believe change is possible, and together, we can do amazing things.
Meaningful change starts with connection.
When neurodivergent people feel understood, accepted and able to belong, it becomes easier to share experiences, ideas and knowledge.
That creates stronger collective voice. And when our voices are listened to, valued and involved in shaping decisions, it can influence the systems around us.
Your voice matters. Your ideas matter.
You matter
